UT Project Management Services
In many situations, routine or generic ultrasonic equipment and services are not sufficient to meet the needs of special projects. In those cases, project management is necessary to bridge the gap between generic and custom capabilities to achieve the project goal.
Project management provides the necessary guidance to establish and execute a timeline for the project – integrating design, manufacturing and testing tasks, milestones, and final acceptance.
A subset of project management can also be provided such as creating a design specification for a custom system to be used in a request for quotation (RFQ).
Experience
Examples of Productive C-Scan’s expertise in ultrasonic inspection of aerospace composite parts, include:
Helicopter spars, torque tubes, splice caps, tip caps, trim tabs, blades, and propellers.
Aircraft winglets, skins, radomes, vanes, tees, bars, L-brackets, hat-brackets, and pi clevis joints.
We have also inspected the current spacecraft metal domes since 2014 and composite submarine radomes since 2019.
